THE BIGGER TERROR THAN BIN LADEN IS COMING…

It may seem mind-boggling initially, but it’s true. With death of Osama Bin Laden, terrorism may slow-down or come to an end, but it is apprehended that time will come when people will be suffering from various ailments and no medicine will be enough effective to cure diseases, if our flippant attitudes continue. The whole world will go to moribund stage and later to death. Isn’t it bigger threat than a terrorist attack on certain places? Yes, obviously, in no uncertain term. Experts of WHO have apprehended this by stating that no more new antibiotics are expected for next 10 years. In last 80 years, 150 antibiotics have been discovered, among which, anti-microbial resistance has developed to many and within 1-2 years, resistance will develop to almost all medicines. Then..? The ultimate scenario will be more pathetic than a terrorist attack. Perhaps this is the omen for destruction of universe which is going to happen by 2012, what many astrologers have claimed.

So what can be done? Should we run-away to other planet? No yaar! Not possible. To my mind, we’d better be cautious from today onwards about the use of antibiotics and follow the suggestions of experts; which are:
1.       Self-medication should always be discouraged.
2.       Antibiotics should be taken in appropriate doses.
3.       Antibiotics should be used as much less as possible, when it is necessary only; not immediately after watching some feeble symptoms of diseases.
4.       The prescribed antibiotics course should be completed even the diseases appear to be cured during due course of treatment.

THE DEMISE OF SRI SATHYA SAI BABA: A GREAT LOSS TO HUMAN SOCIETY

Time: 07.40AM
Date: 24th April 2011
India as well as this spiritual globe lost a very bright star at this time. The bulletin from SSSIHMS revealed that Sri Sathya Sai Baba had left his mortal body, leaving an ever un-fulfilled space. This messenger of Love, Peace & Harmony will be no more with us to bless us directly, though His hidden blessings are upon us incessantly.

Though many controversies have come out regarding His incarnation and magical powers, we should not go with this at all. As we are not brainless, we can know by focusing on the godly work he has done in various sectors for the welfare of society. It is also said that anybody can be best recognized by his actions; we shouldn’t forget it. He has never referred Himself only as God, rather to all human beings; the only difference is that He has realized what we haven’t till now.

Let us spread His message of Love and Service to every corner of the world. Let His blessings always shower to make us feel the ecstasy of divinity and enlighten our lives to walk the paths shown by this Great Soul.

THANKS
Sushanta

CONGRATULATION DR. SIDDHARTHA

It’s really a matter of pride that another Indian was awarded with “PULTIZER” prize- the most prestigious award in the field of literature and journalism in USA, for the year 2011. Previously, those were Govind Bihari Lal(1937), Jhumpa Lahiri(2000) and Geeta Anand(2003) could make it, now it’s Dr.Siddhartha Mukherjee, an US-based medicine professor-cum-cancer physician, for his non-fiction classic book “The Emperor of All Maladies: A Biography of Cancer”. This book is all about the evolution and progression of the thousand years old, all time pain causing “cancer” disease and its tragic stories related to mankind. Here cancer is viewed by author with cellular biologist’s precision, a historian’s perspective and a biographer’s passion, which made this book so special.
This is a must read book for all human beings, that will surely make them realize about a power beyond their reach, which can cripple anybody at anytime without discriminating rich-poor, young-old etc. Men will fear to be cursed with this disease as a result of their sins committed in life, because all activities are well noticed by the Supreme Power.
Hats off to Dr.Siddhartha for his valuable contribution to the world of literature.
